The journey of Medical Trust Nig Ltd began in the year 2018 with a visionary idea conceived by the founder and Chief Executive Office, Maaruf Kabir Abubakar; an innovative strategist with all the fundamental business acumen and administrative aptitude. Driven by a passion to bridge the gap in quality healthcare delivery, he set out to establish a company dedicated to the sales and supply, import and export of reliable premium medical and laboratory equipment, consumables and products of all kind to hospitals, government parastatals, laboratories, and healthcare providers within the length and breath of Nigeria and world wide.

In 2019, the need to incorporate became eminient, hence the journey evolved and metamophosed into a corporate brand by the formal registration of Medical Trust Nigeria Ltd as a corporate entity under the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria with RC Number 2024719. Since then, the company has continued to strive and expand its reach and capacity, emerging as a trusted name in the healthcare supply chain industry.

As part of a strategic effort to further strengthen diagnostic services, we established a subsidiary — the Medical Trust Diagnostic Centre — focused exclusively on delivering top-notch medical laboratory testing and diagnostic services. In 2020, we earned the recognition and approval of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, and by 2021, we were fully licensed to operate and serve the public.
